...dalmations in the months following the 2 Disney movies. When the sequel
was announced, animal shelters across the continent braced for the next wave
of dalmations after their experience with the public's novelty reaction to
the first movie.

A couple years ago on this list was a discussion on NANFA coordinating a
rescue group for unwanted aquarium fish. That fizzled-- pretty grand plan
for a small club spread wayyyyy out :-)

If a few people want to take some time, this is a good time for NANFA to
show its smarts and develop a section on the webpage that educates the
public about this topic, discusses responsible pet ownership, offers
alternatives for unwanted pet disposal, and whatever wlse you think would be
useful.
