Thanks Ray.

I know they can. That's why I get angry when they don't, or even more
importantly... they won't. ;)

Sunday evening, I read 12 pages of anonymous submittals to a survey the
Cleveland Plain Dealer put out for Ohio EPA staffers to say what they *really*
thought about their agency, what could be improved, what was hindering, and
what they feared the most.

I read 12 pages of "If you have enough lawyers, Ohio's the place for you
because we'll never put you in court and even if we ever pursue you for any
violation, the Attorney General's office will just settle out of court with
you at an amount that you can write off as a business expence. Think of all
the money you'll have saved not doing things right!"

Unfortunately, the person who gave me the paper copy deleted the original. :/
I can bring photocopies to the Conference tho, if anyone wants to read it. I
looked a bit on the web, but the Plain Dealer website doesn't have a search
(real nice) and I've been unable to locate it in the mighty fortress of google
:)

So that's why I complain. I only wish there were cranberries left in Ohio ;)

Todd

I would say it doesn't, come visit the marsh of central Wisconsin. The water
is literally a soup of fish, crustaceans, insects , molluscs , reptiles and
amphbians, probably forgot a few. This is with much agriculture, as in
cranberries. Don't always think that so called big business and agricuture
can't coicide with a healthy environment, or you might just be penniless
without any food to eat.
