Another thing which could be done with the article, Casper. I would
recommend keeping a few copies of this account in your vehicle. Hand 'em out
to those guys you ask parking and snorkling permission of. It would be hard
for locals not to be moved by your sense of wonder and the lyrical
descriptions of what you see. I'm sure the local creators of Rudy's homemade
banana pudding and catfish dinners would be tickled too.

I guess that you might feel it is tooting your own horn. But it might do the
people of the town of Bucksnort good to know that they were appreciated and
how many wonders reside in those waters they were defending. Heck, send it
to their local paper! (There could be a NANFA P.R. committee effort here.
)

You and several others on this list have noted that most of the people
living near the waters explored by NANFAns have no idea what is there. A
theme too often repeated by all of us, throughout life, is "I didn't realize
what we had." Most folks are far more likely to stand up for things when
they understand how important they are or that they even exist.

All the best!

Scott
