Bill Flowers:

I noted from your post that you have keep a batch of wild daphnia for a
while. Mine all disappeared. Now all I have are mosquito larva. They work
well but I would like to keep a bucket of daphnia.

The bucket is plastic from Office Mart; 20 in D, 16 in H, 20 gal. The water
is from the fiver and green. A white net is just visible at 6 in depth. At
the moment I don't add or remove any thing except the larva. I have Dr.
Hoff's book and am wondering if I should be adding micro-algae or
fertilizer.

What can you tell me?

Thanks for your time
