that is a pretty neat page for sorin's kamakazee hellbender quest.
i got to see 2 last year while snorkling the flint. i was observing darters
and a big slimy hellbender eased up underneath me. i proceeded to quietly
follow it. i led me to a small opening... in it went and out popped another
as if to say... hey look what has been following me.
sometimes while snorkling i think i may be reverting to a hellbender... post
incarnate.
i also observed one a friend had caught several years ago go white, shed its
skin and eat it all within a couple minutes... weird indeed.
