WAKO ( the Wisconsin Area Killifish Organization) will be having its annual
collecting ( ooooopppppppp poop pppsssss poaching) and picnic this 10th of
June near Muckwanago Wisconsin. Anyone interested in attending let me
know. The Muchwanago River is a beautiful clear warmwater stream not far from
Milwaukee. The species of fish and shellfish are astounding, and the number
of protected species that coexist with abundant species in this more urban
area is phenomanal. If you can make it, be there around noon or so, and if
you like, bring some thing to cook on the grill, which will be there
courtesy of the club. I have directions of you are interested. This is
always a fun time for all. Anyone handy with a map, the area is just on the
south edge of Muckwanago ( the town) just north of HWY 43 which goes from
Milwaukee to Beloit.
