Costa Mesa, Calif., June 6 Dont try this at home. Children who have seen
the computer-animated movie Finding Nemo might be tempted to flush their
pet fish down the drain to send it safely into the ocean. Not.

A company that makes equipment to process sewage says yes, drain pipes do
eventually lead to the ocean but first the fluid goes through powerful
machines that shred solids into tiny particles. The J.W.C. Environmental
company writes that in reality, no one would ever find Nemo, and instead
the movie would be called Grinding Nemo. The company goes on to says
that in the unlikely event that Nemo survived the deadly machines, he would
probably be killed by the chlorine disinfection.
