NANFA-- A great convention

I haven't had time to come up with an e-mail summarizing what a great
convention this year's was in South Carolina. Chip and Dustin did an
outstanding job as hosts. They bent over backwards to show me spots or to
take me to spots before and after the convention. They and other active NANFA
people set a great example of service and dedication that I am in awe of.
They go beyond setting an example of being a better naturalist by setting an
example of how to be a better person.

Any way, enough sappy stuff (which I do mean). I'm back in Fargo where we had
a high of 64 and a low of 39 the other day. It looks like it might be one of
these once in decade or so years when we never really warm up and get a
summer. 1982 and 1985 were that way, so I guess we're due.
