Try Central mudminnows and Brook sticklebacks they will live in the real
weedy areas that most ponds get. I'd also at least try Fantail or Johnny
darters they lay their eggs on the underside of things therefore can survive
in mud bottom areas. Northern redbelly dace are common in Beaver ponds so
they might make it. I'd also try Fundulus notatus or one of the other
topminnows. They would look great schooling on the surface.
