Thanks. I remember thinking that the ling were spectacularly ugly, and
wondering why anyone would want to eat one. They also smelled bad.

Actually, on that first fishing trip, the bridge hadn't been completely
built yet. There were men in these huge cranes far atop the bridge posts,
and my father told me they made a lot of money. I remember thinking that
you couldn't pay me enough money to go up that high.
