Whilst begging for donations for the upcoming "Fabulous Fishes" event here in Mississippi, I chanced upong the following at the
FAMA website:

"Don's love of aquatic life, and his appreciation of its fragility, was apparent. He was always quick to put in plugs for the conservation
oriented North American Native Fishes Association (NANFA) and to encourage it in every way possible. Although I never met him, our
communications were always warm and professional. I will miss him.

Vince Brach, Ph.D.

"The Dipnetter"

Oldtimers to this list will remember Vince - he has since dropped off the NANFA radar screen for reasons unknown. But both he and
Don Dewey were great friends of NANFA. I miss Don too - he never failed to personally respond to any of my submissions to FAMA.

Prost,

Martin
