That sounds like something I would have done as a kid. If you are used to
seeing them a 4' gator isn't that impressive, I have a buddy that bass fishes
with his sons and one day the sons took the bass boat out with out their dad and
brought home a 4' gator. they were both covered in mud and looked like that
had lost that battle but the gator (all trussed up in the bottom of the boat)
looked like he was ready for round two. A 4' gator could bite you pretty hard,
the boys should have known that if they were as familiar with gators as this
story seems to tell us. maybe they had watched a little too much Steve Erwin
(danger, danger boys and girls!) Too bad the bus driver will probably loose her
job, such an experienced bus driver is a difficult to find jewel. She should
have had the stamina to say no to the boys but as in lots of things we don't
have both sides of the story.
