NANFA-- Local Park Aquarium

Hi Guys...

I've volunteered to care for a 30 gal aquarium at one of our local parks.
The tank is supposed to depict "pond life" so I was going to do pretty much
all sunfish to start (I have a beautiful 5" Longear in there now).

Right now they have a UGF with 2 powerheads as the only filtration. So... I
would like to open up the debate again... "to UGF or to not UGF". I have a
UGF on my 15 gal minnow tank along with a standard power filter hanging on
the back. I have had a lot of luck with this combination but the tank is
small. I'm thinking of abandoning the UGF all together on the 30 gal
because I'm going to use some big rocks for "auqascaping".

Let's hear it again... What are the pros and cons with the under gravel
filter. And... What do other people use on their tanks this size?

Thanks,

Wade
