Mr. Littlehale,

I've kept 2 Largemouths from fingerlings (July 2000) to their current 12"
in a 75 gal. It's VERY expensive to feed live foods from bait shops & pet
stores if you don't have some other source of food. I go through about 4
doz. large fathead minnows or two dozen nightcrawlers a week.

I have tried non-live foods with no luck so far. Even after 2 weeks of no
live foods they wouldn't touch the non-live stuff ( won't even look at
flakes, pellets, or dried or frozen shrimp, not even when I wiggle it)! Good
luck!

Blue gills are much cheaper & easier! Blue gills eat most ANYTHING!

I'd put him back if not within your budget & if possible!

Just my $.02,
Amy
