Jeff,

How dare you say something nice about us poor newsreporters. Of course doom
and gloom sells. Who in theirn right mind wants to listen to good news
anyways. And to be truthful the bad news is what prods our wonderful
politicians to move away from the porkbarrel and do something useful and
creative instead of just wallowing.

So be miserable, be even more miserable and when you are so miserable you
can't take it anymore you'll get motivated and invent some useful scientific
gadget we can write about. haven't you heard...True Genius NEEDS To Suffer

A deep dark recession
Excessive poverty
If it weren't for politics
There'd be no muck at all
Gloom despair and more agony I see
