Hi David. You should hook up with Steven Ellis,
roselawn_at_mindspring.com, he's the director of Roselawn
Museum just up the road from you. The area between you
and Huntsville is loaded with desireable species of
plants and fish. The Fundulus stellifer are wonderful
as are the catenatus. Alabama has flame chubs,
southern red belly dace and rainbow shiners just to
name a few. Elassoma zonatum are in the Montgomery
area. Add to that the chubs, darters and sunfish found
in the state there is something for everyone's taste.
