If I ever had the chance to own my own petshop you guys would be proud. I've
worked in three of them. Set up marine fish in two of them and was fish
manager in all three of them. I set up marine reef fish in one of them. I worked in
another one part time and the owner often said I could sell more fish on one
Saturday than everyone else could sell in a week. I am a natural when I comes
to selling a product I believe in. I also didn't pay any attention to the
pretty girls who came in just to impress. I waited on the customers who wanted to
buy no matter who they were. I sold more gold fish to old black ladies, in
money spent not numbers of fish, than everyone else in the store sold in all kinds
of fish because I treated them like people. The other guys always followed
the pretty young things around but never made sales. I have a pretty good idea
what a real fish store needs.
