How difficult is it to breed bowfin? Could bowfin could be used in place of
snakeheads? (I know this is a personal preference type question) To me a
bowfin is both meaner looking and just plain meaner than a snake head. To some
aquarium keepers this is the most important aspect of fish keeping, kinda like
keeping mean dogs I guess. Do male and female bowfin tolerate each other well?
Could you keep a male and a female bowfin in a small pond and expect them to
breed? I guess what I'm thinking of is giving a snake head keeper a choice that
is still mean enough to excite them.
