I looked at it, looks like a spinal deformity to me. I have some redbreasted
sunfish young that turned out like this. Does anyone want them? Big bucks,
kaching. Only kidding, since they are long gone as feeders. I can see the
draw to long finned or alternate ( sports) color varieties, but deformed
fish just don't cut it for me. If I could find leusistic green sunfish (
golden sunfish sold for pond stocking in Texas at sometime) I would try to
breed them for aquarium use. Apparently these are not around anymore.
