NANFA-- fall smells like...

The warm dry summer and late fall rains delayed the return of adult salmon
this year. Growing up in the midwest I always associated fall with the
smell of decaying oak and maple leaves in the crisp air. Now that I'm in
the land of evergreens it's the putrid smell of decaying salmon that
signals fall to me. I think I like the leaves better...
