Dan,

I would think that if the tank is over 50g's you should have any problems
with the Longeared bothering the Darter. Though I would be careful to make
sure that the darter is not skinny enough to fit in his mouth. If there are
some hiding places (rocks/plants) then he will have an even better chance of
not being bothered. If anyone disagrees with me please let me know, maybe I
am not thinking logically on this issue. Although, I do keep 2" Tessellated
Darters with large Pumpkinseed and Longeared Sunfish and it works very well.

Hey look at the time! Time to get ready for my last collecting trip of fall
before winter creeps up and there is ice ontop of all the small streams in
the area. Wish me luck!
