I have kept them short term in an aquarium several years ago. The medusae
lasted about 3 weeks or so. Some batches I fed on wild plankton, others I
didn't feed at all. Didn't seem to make much difference.
According to Dr. Peard, most populations of medusae are either all male or
all female (as I recall), so sexual reproduction is unlikely. Like Moon,
though, I hope to find some of the polyps one day.
