Come on over and I will take you there... The "brain jelly fish" are the
ones in a recent thread that had links to pictures. I dont remember their
actual name, but they were the ones that grew in big colonies, usually
attached to some cover or structure. I am not sure on the clams, probably
all the same species, since it is rare ( so I here) to find clams in tannic
swamp water conditions. The snails are different ramshorns, trap door live
bearing " japanese " snails, a trumpet or unicorn snail, a pond snail that
gets the size of a golf ball with a thick hard shell, and another pond snial
shaped snail with a trap door that seems to like being in the only nearly
year round strong current areas there, man made ones, by culverts where the
sediments clear away and the bottom is sandy. I know little of there names
or classifications, since I can never find a good reference -ala peterson
feild guides - to fresh water shellfish.
