I would like to ask the group if any has seen any evidence that would
indicate to them that there is a dwarf or at least smaller variety of large
mouth bass? I have noticed some subtle coloration differences also but I
don't know if they are connected with a small variety or not. the small bass
seem to be found in small streams, but not ponds. I have seen bass full of
eggs at 6 to 8 inches long. in these streams larger bass are not found.
