Yeah, I definitely wasn't suggesting that math is unnessessary, or that kids
shouldn't be interested in it. Math is a necessessary skill in life. You will
need it daily in ;urchasing thingsand maintaining a budget so you don't spend
more than you should. Math is also relevant to native fish studies for
surveys of fish populations. This helps monitor how well different species
are doing in the wild. It's definitely a good thing to have some sort of
interest in math.
