This part of NANFA's webpage is an excellent educational resource. It nicely
defines riparian zones and describes their ecological signifcance in layman's
terms. I particularly like how it is broken down into individual sections,
showing the necessity of streamside vegetation not only to fish, but to birds,
mammals, insects...and even people! Numerous excellent color photographs
illustrate the basic concepts.

I join Rob Carillio in congratulating -- and thanking Jay -- on a superb job.
This is NANFA at its finest!
