if you read some of the background, it turns out not all mercury is from man
made sources. Then there are dioxins and PCBs which are mostly man made. The
key to using these guides is to eat small fish. They taste better anyway and
there isn't much wasted. The other advice I now follow which I did not 15
years ago is to eat fish once a week instead of every meal, like I used to.
The good news is that most places have improved in the last 15 years.
