And I'm going to reply to myself before any confusion begins, as I may have caused some. :) Having the lamps peter out of phosphorus at 6 months is WAY better than starting right off the bat with a crappy lamp that is the spectrum of a burned up phosphorus enhanced lamp.

However, I will warn that the lamps that have adjusted spectrum, shift very very very sour once the phosphorus is gone. Read: Film algae will have a hay day.
