Duckweed ... hummm. What other natives relish duckweed?

We encountered a couple of 5-6 inch golden shiners when the Il-IN gtroup was
at the Spring Brook Nature Center in Itasca, IL. As often happens when one
encounters a fish new to them, the response was, "Thats a shiner?" Certainly
was pleasent news to several of us.

Thanks for any thoughts on duckweed grazers.
