NANFA-- getting a good seal...

While I'm thinking about this... It's about time for waders in these parts
again. I have a pair that I ripped a bit on a seam. They're the nylon
kind. I patched it from the inside, perhaps too frugally.

I don't know if I should patch it again from the outside, or patch over from
the inside more liberally?

Or are seam cuts really hard to get patched?

The patch works for about an hour and then a slow leak emmerges, which is
just enough to make you miserable :)

Any thoughts, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated...
