Hi Robert,

I'm a relative newbie here, too, but I have to ask... where and why are you collecting these native fish (mummichogs and pompanos) if you aren't sure how to care for them? If you're worried about your one pompano surviving, should you be trying to acquire another right away?

I don't know anything about saltwater fish -- but live foods are the answer to most "my fish won't eat" sort of questions. For a fish that small, maybe brine shrimp? Good local pet stores may have them already hatched.

Cheers,
Jase
