Well, that's why I was going for Cyprinidontiformes as a wider group than
just cyprinodontidae. I remember off the top of my head that all of the
species now considered to be Fundulus have a common ancestor about 5 million
years back; the last common ancestor of Cyprinodon and Fundulus is something
like 10 million years back (but don't quote me).
