Hi Ben-

I just moved from the Lexington area last year (now in the DC area) so
I have some suggestions. You might go west a bit and look-in-creeks
that drain into lake cumberland or in the Green river drainage.

You might look-in-fishing creek near Science Hill, KY and Trace Fork
in Casey county. Get a good kentucky map and check places that you
can get access to.
