Aquatic Specialist III
Bethesda, MD
Charles River Laboratories is seeking an Aquatic Specialist III in Bethesda,
MD-in-NIH-NICHD. Responsibilities include aquatics husbandry with zebra
fish, sea urchins, frogs, and other aquatic and semi aquatic species; blood draws
and other technical duties to assist the team of research scientists.
Responsibilities also include the design and maintenance of aquatic housing
systems, water quality testing, performance of health checks on animals, reporting
of any abnormalities to attending veterinarian, and stock and maintenance of
all NICHD aquatic facilities on the NIH campus. Some weekend and holiday work
will be required.

The Aquatic Specialist III will have a Bachelor's Degree in an Aquatic
Science or a closely related field, with-in-least 1 yr of exp in aquatics.
