Also, there are two collecting sites illustrated. One was in extreme
southern Arkansas where the crystal darters, and harlequin darters
were found, and where Bob Muller and Mark Otnes almost drowned, and
the locals were running around on four wheel ATVs. What was that
river and location called?
The second site was the one that was in a large preserve in northern
Arkansas, where we found the snake. We followed windy dirt roads way
back into this wilderness area, and some folks were swimming there
where the road crossed the small stream, and there were large pools
above and below the road. I think there was a rope swing on the
downstream side. Does that jog anyone's memory? Let me know and
I'll caption the photos better.
