How cool is that!
I have only seen a few lamprey when I pulled
them off salmon in the puget sound. Are they easy
to keep? do you even want to keep em?

this morning i walked in my shop and a 6" lamprey is clinging to the front
glass in my 25 gallon. all teeth are suctioned to the glass. this is one i
reckon i collected last year which promptly disappeared. it has been living
in the 1" sand substrate all this time. im not sure what kind it is... i will
break out the books. the teeth pattern is easy to observe but the drawings in
the tn book kinda confuse me.
last year this same thing occured and a dif lamprey attached itself to a
spotfin shiner. pretty gruesome.
