Lake Erie my man... anywhere and everywhere... throw on a nightcrawler, troll, it doesnt matter you will get em somehow...In my experience if I was fishing for smallmouth and they were in like 16-22 any time i went deepr than 22 say to 26ft I would be pulling in nothing but sheepshead automatically. I would also say most of the large rivers, behind the many spillways in southern ohio have them too. Call up DNR and see whats closest to you that is known to have them.
