Todd,

I can tell you this, where I found what we think are indeed "Finger-nail"
clams were in completely muddy, no flow environments that no one would ever
think of as being an ideal environment that no other clam that I know of
would survive ......Asiatic clams are only found (in my experience) where
there is a constant flow of water, usually tidal or downstream current.
(That I know of....)
