Shuck the meat into one's mouth? I love mollusks and oysters ! Or, are some
of these poisonous? I'd rather think of the family as being monitors of
water quality but there is some risk of being filter feeder's where some
undesirable bacteria could be fatal if a person's immune system isn't up to
par, wouldn't you say?
