Hi Richard,

Where are you located in Michigan? I am near Paris (about an hour north of Grand
Rapids). I don't know about the green sunfish but I have seen what appear to be
banded killiefish and heard about blackstripe topminnows being here in Michigan.
In the case of both killiefish, they were found down state, south of Grand
Rapids. I was at the NANFA conference and caught some blackstripes in the
Vermillion and the other (I forget the name of the second) collecting site. I
plan to start looking in Michigan for blackstripes now that I know what they look
like, know how to catch them and have some ideas about the kind of setting to find
them..
