Great Ideas Shireen and Jan.

Hows this one sound?

Volunteer to give a talk to local tropical fish or other related clubs
meetings about your paticular area of expertice in native fish. I have
done a few here, not much interest, but enough. I had to turn down doing
the last one, unfortunatly. Sometimes they even pay you to do this ,
especially if you have to drive some distance. I like sunfish and killis,
so i stick to these species mostly, otherwise at Q and A time I'd be
sitting there going , UHHH??? Doesn't look good or sound very
professional. Slides are an awesome way to display some fish and other
linked material as well. I would assume this could be extended to schools.
Slides here would be real cool. The big screen effect, with good slides,
would really be exciting to younger children, maybe even older ones,
especially if there were "action" shots.
