Both of the local fish clubs have a collecting day in july. it is a
picnic/ collecting day. WAKO the Wisconsin area killifish oraganization
local affialte to the AKA and CWAS Central WI Aquarium society do this. So
that is sort of happening. I havent gone with the CWAS group yet, due to
conflicts in my schedule, but have done the WAKO one the past two years. I
am surprised the people have in naitves, even the ones who seem non
interested at other times.

Nature nut is an awesome show. i watched it with my daughter, but I havent
in awhile, I dont know if it is off the air here now, or I just havent been
watching the right channels. He had a cool show on about fatheads in a
lake near his area.
