Rhonda, I don't know the reason, but packages that normally have taken 3-4 days have taken 7-9 days with Priority Mail since about mid-November. I've been exceptionally lucky in that fish I've shipped have all arrived in pretty-much good shape inspite of the lengthy shipping times. For the most part, lengthy shipping times are better tolerated by fish in the winter than in the summer (cooler temps = more dissolved O2 + slower metabolic rates, I guess).
