Day 5, I added hornwort and a clump of java fern, as well, put in a sterile
sponge filter driven by a maxijet 1200 to get activated with the remaining
mulm. I'm going to let that go for another week, then clear off the excess.
Lights have been on for ~8 hours per day after day 6.
I wish I would have monitored all weekend so I would have known exactly when
the nitrite was undetectable, but the schedule proved otherwise.
Still it's cool. Esp since the nitrate is going down without a waterchange.
Think I'll monitor this for a bit before I get any fish involved... See if
it can't run out of nitrate without any input :)
