I can't address the pickeral question but I can offert
this about the sturgeon. I currently have a pallid in
a 125 gal on display. We have had it for four years
and it is about 20" TL. For the past few months I have
been thinking that it is almost time to move it to a
larger tank.

The fish is not suffering any ill effects and is very
healthy but it doesn't have the free tank space that I
think it should have.

I would not recommend keeping a sturgeon any larger
than this in a 125.
