Hi Steven:

The Florida Collecting Guide is privately published by the Central Florida
Region of NANFA and the Suncoast Killifish Society.
A brief description follows. We plan a supplement by March which will
include a new section on aquarium friendly plants.
The Florida Collection Guide:The first issue includes 63 color photos of
Florida native fishes printed on heavy stock paper, information on
collecting in Florida, regulations and other relevant information important
to the collector, all housed in a three ring binder. The guide also includes
information on state regulations and lists fish that endangered , threatened
and are designated as species of special concern.

The Guide's authors, Brian Skidmore and Henri DeBruyn, and the producer,
Mike Jacobs agreed to split profits between NANFA, the Central Regional
Group and the SKS. The price is $20, with $10 going to the three
aforementioned clubs: $4 to NANFA, and $3 each to the SKS and our Regional
Group. Shipping costs are $3.20

The books should be available soon. We sold out the second printing before
Xmas, and have backorders that should all be filled in the next week or two.
New orders will take about 3 weeks now, and we have a much larger printing
planned that will include the first supplement

Send checks to:
