Supposedly if you grind any of the sucker species in a meat grinder, or food
processor, the bones are not a problem. Add some boiled potatos to the meat
when grinding. Next chop onions, bell pepper and celery plus seasoning of
your choice and mix in. Roll in a breading of choice and deep fry or pan
fry. I doubt grinding works with large ones, but around a foot long it
should, since the bones are fine. Sucker meat is very good smoked, the bones
zip out of the meat. Fried it was good, but the bones were annoying. Fine
like hair ( foot long white sucker) and not something that would hurt
swallowing, just annoying.
