You sure that wasn't a Dr. Suess book?
A few years back someone on this list was talking about compiling a native
fish cookbook. Something like that would help get rid of the negative term
"trash fish". I think the term originated from resource management
agencies as a way to classify fish based on some sort of sport or food
value, but it's sure outdated and ignorant.
