I wouldn't say common, but they are present. This is one of my "high
water" sources for O-spots. The only places that I've consistently
captured them are the side channels at Side Cut Metropark and Van Tassel
Access (Mark B caught a couple at VTA too). I've never seen them when
the water is normal or low.

Of course, I never see the breeder sized Bluntnose Minners I'm usually
looking for to put on a hook for some delightful large piscivorian
rod-reel action during low water either ;)

I hear near Toledo they are very common in the Maumee.
