About 10:55 am, Bruce. It was reportedly felt as far away as Salt Lake
City, so I guess Boise/Meridian is likely even though none of Laura's
relatives in that aprt of Idaho felt anything.

Today's newspaper reports that the damage to the Capitol building dome is
not as bad as had been thought. The Elks Building which I mentioned my be
condemned will only have to undergo repairs to one corner and will be
reopened, which is good news to the tenants there. Other buildings may not
be so fortunate, such as the Old Olympian Hotel which now consists of
apartments for low income tenants who are not allowed to return.
